Sunshine Coast Hinterland Lifestyle

ZEB Realty are leading Sunshine Coast Real Estate Agents, specialising in unique and premium properties – particularly in the Hinterland. Not only do we list and sell many houses and land in the Blackall Range, owners Ann & Stuart Ellison were married at Maleny…so it’s a particularly special place for them, always.

With a laidback lifestyle and the beautifully characteristic villages of Maleny, Montville and Mapleton, the Hinterland is the soul of the Sunshine Coast. Peaceful, quiet, tranquil surroundings with the gorgeous coastal towns of Mooloolaba, Maroochydore, Caloundra & Noosa close by will have you feeling relaxed and refreshed….

Spend time wandering the magical parks and waterfalls, while discovering the views of the Glasshouse Mountains along one of the most scenic winding country roads in Australia, the Blackall Range.

Along the drive is one the alternative lifestyle township of Maleny – a vibrant, cultural place of delicious organic foods, holistic practitioners, and a diverse art gallery. Down the road is the picturesque village of Montville which boasts panoramic views of the coast and a thriving little shopping village of speciality shops, cafes and galleries.

The tranquil National Parks of the Hinterland offer a mind, body and soul cleansing outing.

Kondalilla Falls National Park in Flaxton – just out of Montville, is sensational in the summer for a cool and refreshing swim in the rock pools, and the kids will love the 4m jump from the rocks above the swimming hole. The larger waterfalls tumbles 90m into the valley of the parks rainforest. Gardners Falls offers a gentle bush walk down the creek to the falls. The rock pools are perfect for small children to splash about, with the larger swimming hole for the slightly more adventurous. Both parks offer a number of areas to enjoy a picnic.

Mary Cairncross Park Scenic Reserve at Maleny boasts a 55 hectare subtropical rainforest walk, overlooking the Glasshouse Mountains. There is a large picnic area, or a cafe on site serving lunch. The easy walk around the rainforest is just over 2km and is accessible by wheelchair.

These are just some of the gems on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
